NLF runs community-based programmes that combine awareness, early screening, referral support, counselling, and on-ground assistance—so families can access help earlier, at lower cost, and with dignity.
Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension are rising, and they often lead to long-term complications including chronic kidney disease (CKD). Recent estimates indicate ~138 million adults in India were living with CKD in 2023, with evidence suggesting higher prevalence in rural areas than urban areas, driven by late diagnosis, limited access to care, and low awareness. NLF addresses this gap through prevention, early detection, and patient support—while also responding to wider rural needs beyond health.

Guidance, mentoring, and financial and learning support for impoverished rural students, with special focus on children from single-parent households.
Providing a safe, dignified, and compassionate environment for elders through senior support services and old-age care initiatives.
Improving equitable access to ambulance and emergency services to reduce preventable delays in treatment and disparities in patient outcomes.
Education and support for organic farming, nutrition awareness, and sustainable rural livelihoods that strengthen community health and resilience.
